Your thumb flexibility is a valuable and free palm reading indicator showing how well you make changes in life. It reveals how resistive or acceptable you are to changing ideas and beliefs. Here is how to check that:
1. Relax the thumb. Hold the end and rotate it with the other hand.
2. If the thumb rotates relatively easy and does not resist, click here.
3. If the thumb strongly resists being rotated click here.
If the entire thumb is flexible and NOT stiff it reveals you are not resistive to changes. You can change easily and with little stress or worry. You achieve good results in life relatively easy by being flexible in dealing with other people. Your easy-going attitude attracts people who support and help you succeed. You don't need to be a workaholic to get good results.
If your end zone also is easily bent back at a large angle, it reveals that you "bend over backward" to please and help others. You are a good peacemaker, negotiator, and public relations representative. You are generous and often extravagant with money.
If your thumb both rotates very easily and the end zone bends over easily, you need to watch out that you do not become too extravagant with money, time, and personal energy given to others. Hands that are extremely flexible are not a good thing to have. A slight resistance shows caution and a slight delay before jumping into other people's problems. The challenge is to very carefully and objectively evaluate each situation where you feel the need to help someone. You should be careful and set limits on your self-sacrificial behavior, and how much time and energy you devote to others in need.
Working and playing in a balanced way will achieve excellent results in life and will keep your body healthy. "Going with the flow" is a good rule to follow for good health and happiness.
I don't remember where I heard this, but it seems true: To determine what is going on in the mind, look at the body. To determine what is going on in the body, look at the mind.
If the entire thumb is stiff, it reveals that you are conservative, cautious, reserved, and resistant to new ways of behaving and functioning. You do not adapt to changes easily.
Also, if your end zone is stiff, it means that you insist on doing things your own way. Also, there is resistance to suggestions from other people, even when the well-meant advice might steer you to a better solution to problems. If all your fingers are stiff along with a stiff thumb end zone, people probably call you "stubborn". Whichever way you are, in your mind you have good reason for being that way and it serves a good purpose getting you what you want for now.
The challenge for people with a rigid thumb is to "loosen up", "let go", and enjoy new ways of doing things. They need to put more variety in their lives and trust that everything will work out. They should try "going with the flow" more often. Not only does this make life easier but also the body will be more healthy.
The danger with a rigid end zone is that it indicates a stubbornness that blocks out valuable help. The challenge for the person with a stiff thumb is to loosen up and be open to receiving more help from others.
